Meet our teachers

Christiana

Christiana is a yogi & folk herbalism apprentice. She has been practicing yoga for several years, but it wasn’t until a deeply transitional period living in NYC that her practice truly became a source of grounding and healing.

To her, yoga is a reminder of our innate connection to Mother Earth - how, like nature, we move through seasons of change, stillness, and growth. Her classes often feel like a dance between expansion and rootedness, with an emphasis on breath, sensation, and listening inward.

Her relationship with herbs and tea is woven just as deeply into her life and practice. Through studying folk herbalism, tending plants, preparing medicine, and sitting in tea ceremony, she has come to see plants as teachers and allies. She brings this reverence into her offerings, creating spaces where movement and ritual become pathways back to presence.

Liza

Liza is a yoga teacher, art therapist, and lifelong creative who believes movement can be a way to come home to yourself. She has been practicing yoga since she was 15 and loves creating classes that balance strength, playfulness, curiosity, and a little bit of slowing down.

Her classes are an invitation to get out of your head, into your body, and explore what feels good without taking yourself too seriously. Expect creative flows, moments to breathe, and space to simply be human.

When she’s not teaching yoga, Liza works as an art therapist and is usually finding some way to make a mess and call it art.

Susu

Susu has been practicing yoga for three decades, with a lifelong path rooted in movement, healing, nurturing, and caregiving. She completed her 200-hour Kripalu-based Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga for Life in 2011, continued her studies with The Yoga Abbey in 2022, and completed Embodiment & Somatic training with ONE VOICE in 2026.

Her teaching is grounded in the belief that yoga offers us a way to come home to ourselves—to feel safe, supported and connected to the sacred divine within.

Through slow, somatically based flow, Susu invites students to connect with the earth, the breath, and the innate wisdom of their bodies, moving organically and playfully while cultivating self-love and compassion.

We honor that life is a continual practice of learning, listening, and remaining a student.

Our teaching is rooted in yogic philosophy, especially ahimsa (non-harm), svadhyaya (self-study), and aparigraha (non-grasping).

Each teacher brings their own lived experience, voice, and way of guiding — while honoring these shared values at the heart of our space.
